Our 4 year old has been making toast for many months now. Today she forgot to toast the bread before she applied the peanut butter and without hesitation popped it into the toaster to correct her "blunder" :). She brought it to me with a look of deep consternation saying, "Mommy! My peanut butter boiled!!!".

ReplyDeleteI love boiled peanut butter! No, wait - make that *broiled* peanut butter. Make a piece of toast, spread some butter and peanut butter on it, then pop it under the broiler until the peanut butter bubbles. Yum! A little more trouble than doing it in the toaster, but much easier to clean up afterward.
