My Consolation Prize...

...for making it to my 41st week...Baby in 3D. If I can't hold him then at least I get to admire his chubby little cheeks :). Aren't they cute?!!!

I have another appointment next Friday, if I make it that long. (Oh, PLEASE be born before next Friday little one!) At that point we will probably be considering whether I should try having the membranes stripped or something. For now we're still waiting!!!

I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. ~Psalm 139:14

  2. How late was Benjamin? I don't remember his due date. I'm just so sore and tired :)! My worry is that I won't have the stamina left to be a "good mommy" when he finally gets here! Maybe I'm forgetting that adrenaline rush that labor gives you, I just hope it works the same way when you feel like you've been laboring for three weeks :).

  3. Wow! You have some patience...I have never gone past 39 weeks and a few days. You are a saint!

Can I also just say that those chubby cheeks make it all worth while? He is too too cute!!! Makes me long to see my little guy!

Well, put it this way. We'll have our babies if not sooner, than definitely later, lol.

    :)

Be blessed, and take it easy hun.

  4. Our babies *could* have the same birthdays!!!

I do get a kick out of those chubby cheeks though ;), even if I did have to last into my 41st week to get the picture :).

  5. Benjamin was just 3 days past the due date, which was a first for me. :) So I can sort of imagine what you are going through, but just 3 days does not sound like much at all when you are a week + past!! :)

  6. those first few days over were the worst emotionally because I had so thoroughly convinced myself that he would be early like Bathani :). I have to admit though that, physically, I'm feeling pretty sore and worn down right about now. I'm fine as long as I can sit on the couch all day with my feet up ;), HA! Schooltime is actually the most relaxing time I get. It really is a blessing to be able to sit and listen to Tori read or explain a lesson to Bri and know I'm resting and accomplishing something at the same time :). I don't get these pioneer women who came in from the harvesting to have their babies and then were right back out there soon after, ugh!

    :)
